End of Life Vehicles Promotion (“the Promotion”)
Terms and Conditions
- Promoter - Sims Group UK Limited, company number 636445, registered address: Long Marston, Stratford upon Avon, Warwickshire, CV37 8AQ (“the Promoter”). Recycle Your Car is a branded business of the Promoter.
- Entry is open to individual UK residents (excluding residents of Northern Ireland) aged 18 or over who use or within the past 2 months have used the services of a [participating] Authorised Treatment Facility (“ATF”) to recycle an End of Life vehicle (“ELV”). Employees of the Promoter, those connected with the organisation or administration of this Promotion and businesses trading in ELVs are excluded and cannot participate in this Promotion.
- Entrants are required to fill out the official entry form online at www.recycleyourcar.co.uk and provide their opinion of the standard of the service they have received at the ATF in question. Submitted entry forms will be entered into the Promoter’s monthly prize draw
- Monthly prize draws will take place on the last Friday of each calendar month or, where such day is a bank holiday, on the next working day. One winner will be selected at random under the supervision of an independent observer from entries received by 23.59 on the last Thursday of the month. Entries received after this time will be rolled forward to the following month’s draw. The judge’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- 1 monthly prize draw will take place each month, the final draw being held in December 2008. Entries received after 12 noon on the Closing Date will be ineligible for the final draw and shall not be eligible for the Promotion.
- One (1) prize of a cheque for £100 (“the Prize”) will be awarded to the winner of each monthly prize draw.
- Winners will be notified by post or telephone within 2 weeks of the relevant monthly draw. Each winner will receive their Prize within 4 weeks of the relevant monthly draw.
- Winners may be required to take place in promotional activities.
- The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the Prize in circumstances outside of its control for any prizes of equivalent or greater value.
- Prizes are non-transferable.
- One Entry per person per ATF visit.
- A list of winners names and locations will be available for 28 days after the Closing Date. To receive this information send a stamped address envelope to The Marketing Department, Sims Group UK Limited, Long Marston, Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire, CV37 8AQ.
- The Promoter can not be held responsible for entries which are corrupted, delayed or not received for any reason whatsoever. Proof of submission is not deemed to constitute proof of receipt. Only entries made on the official entry form and submitted via our website will qualify for entry. Entries in other formats or sent by other means shall not be entered into the Promotion.
- Details of the participating ATFs can be found on our website.
- By entering into this Promotion all entrants acknowledge and agree that their personal data will be retained by the Promoter for the purposes of running the Promotion.
